lyrics
Atarax and aspirin
pills for my anxiety
everytime i watch the news
I swear I saw the devil
I'm a walking epidemic
everyone in church hates me
play your favourite song backwards
and hear me sing along
keep up with all my vices
nothing goes through my veins
a massacre entices
but not for selfish gains
look down uneducated
what is the book made for
I'll keep up with my killings
if you're coming back for more
Therapy. Discontent.
Let death sing out condemnation
This is your preconceived notion of what you think you know
and every time I tell a joke it really takes me back to home
despite this smile I am depressed
To think they fed you all with filth coagulated in your veins
I wish I massacred my school and then proceed to kill myself
find a rope and hang yourselves
listen to my instructions
tonight we go to hell
I'll keep up with my preaching
if you're coming back for more
buy a gun and shoot your boss
grab a knife and stab your wife
go to town and kill the crowd
burn the church and make me proud
return to mother nature now
tell her that we did her wrong
from within we look insane
I guess there's really something wrong
God's latest hits played from space
coming to you in the form of waves
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
